Blake Wettengel

As a Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sunstone Development, LLC and its related entities, Blake Wettengel is responsible for the creation of a firm that is recognized nationally as a leading real estate operating company that has acquired, managed, and developed well in excess of $1.5 Billion with properties across the country. During Mr. Wettengel’s tenure, he has overseen the acquisition and management of over 25,000 beds of multi-family properties, securing over $2 billion in debt and equity. His firms have received multiple awards including a ranking in the Inc. 500, recognizing the fastest growing companies in the country.
Mr. Wettengel holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He practiced law from 2005 to 2015, specializing in real estate and corporate transactions and related tax and securities matters. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with honors from Brigham Young University.
